Becoming a member of Friends of Warwick Bushland means you can be as involved as much as you would like.

How to Help
- Report fires immediately on 000.
- Stay on the main walk trails. This minimises disturbance to plants and wildlife by not having too many walking tracks throughout the bushland. This is also for your safety as poisonous snakes occur here.
- Pick up litter you see in the bushland. It is handy to take a disposable bag with you to collect and remove the rubbish.
- Make sure your dog is on a lead. Please remove and dispose of dog’s droppings to reduce fertilising weeds and encouraging them to spread. Bags and disposal bins are located near the oval and south of the tennis courts.
- Report anti-social behaviour to City Rangers on 1300 655 860.
- Report damage, dumped garden or household waste to the City of Joondalup. It’s easy, go to https://www.joondalup.wa.gov.au/kb/resident/reporting-damage-in-the-city and fill out the simple form. Location is recorded automatically if you’re on site and photos can be uploaded.
- Any obstructions noticed along the firebreaks and walk trails can be reported using the City of Joondalup link above. It is very important safe access for Fire Brigade vehicles is maintained.
- Become a member of Friends of Warwick Bushland.

Warwick Bushland Carers Group
The Warwick Bushcare team is a group of enthusiastic volunteers striving to remove the invasive weeds from the Bushland, clean up litter, free up new plants from strangling weeds and so forth. The fortnightly morning of Bushcare is fun, with great camaraderie and banter. They sometimes have a small orchid or wildflower hunt at the finish, or are treated to some home-made cookies.
Please come along and join us. We are actively looking for more people to join the Bushcare group. The more people we can get involved, the more success we will have in restoring the condition of the Bushland. No experience needed. We will show you what needs to be done.

Containers for Change
Friends of Warwick Bushland has a Member Number for the Containers for Change program. You can support us by donating your change from recycling your containers such as bottles and cans.
The 10c container LIDS are also recycled. Take the lids (both metal and plastic) in a separate bag to the refund point and they will be placed in a separate bin and recycled.
By using our Member Number when you submit your containers, you:
- Help us fundraise
- Allow us to purchase small items/equipment for ongoing projects in the bushland
- Reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill.
